Privacy notice

Who we are. Fixing Food LLC. Contact: team@fixing.food.

What we collect. When you write to us: your name, email, organization and the message you send. When you become a Fixer: your email, and if you give them, your name, role and type of operation, used only to get in touch about fixes for operations like yours. Server logs kept by our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps, retained for 30 days for security. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics cookies or social media pixels.

Why, and on what basis. To answer your enquiry and discuss work. To keep the site secure. To meet legal obligations. We do not sell or share your details.

Who processes it for us. Hosting and form handling: Netlify. Email: Microsoft 365. Each acts under a data processing agreement. These providers process data in the United States; for visitors in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area we rely on their standard contractual clauses.

How long. Enquiries: 24 months from last contact. Logs: 30 days.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and take your data elsewhere. Write to team@fixing.food. UK and EEA visitors may also complain to their supervisory authority. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we honor requests to know and delete.

Cookies. None are set. No consent banner is shown because no cookies are used.

Children. This site is for professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Terms of use

Using this site. This site belongs to Fixing Food LLC. You may read it for your own organization's internal purposes. You may not scrape, republish or resell it.

Our work. Reports, dashboards and briefings are consulting deliverables prepared for client organizations. None of it is legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and none of it creates a professional relationship until an engagement letter is signed. Decisions should be made with your own advisers.

Our content. Text, design, data compilations, charts and software on this site belong to Fixing Food LLC or its licensors. FIXING FOOD and the FF mark are trademarks used under license. Third-party names belong to their owners and are used to identify them only.

License. Any deliverable is licensed, not sold, to one named organization under its engagement letter. One organization per license. Each deliverable is watermarked with its license id and date. Deliverables are for the licensee's internal use and may be shared with its own advisers and auditors under confidentiality.

Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Fixing Food LLC is not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses arising from use of this site. For contracted work, liability is governed by the engagement letter.

No offer of securities. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or interest in Fixing Food LLC or any affiliate.

Accessibility

We build to WCAG 2.1 AA. Every page is keyboard operable, every interactive element has a visible focus state and an accessible name, color is never the only carrier of meaning, text meets contrast minimums, and motion respects your reduced-motion setting. If anything on this site is hard for you to use, write to team@fixing.food and we will fix it or give you the content another way within five business days.

Corrections and independence

Corrections. If you believe something we have said about your organization is wrong, write to team@fixing.food. We will acknowledge within two business days, check it against the source, and correct it.

Independence. We take no affiliate revenue, no pay-to-play placements and no sponsored work. We do not rate companies. Client work is private by design. We never disclose that a company is a client without its written permission, and we never use one client's data in another client's work.
